Effective July 2026. What we set, why, and how to turn it off.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember things between page loads — your theme preference, whether you've visited before, which campaign brought you here. They can't run programs or read your files.
What we use
Essential
The handful the site needs to function — like remembering your light/dark theme choice. These don't track you and can't be turned off without breaking things.
Analytics
Aggregate usage measurement: which pages get read, how visitors move through the site, what content earns its place. This is how we practice the measure-everything discipline we sell.
Marketing
Set by advertising platforms when we run our own campaigns, so we can measure whether they work. Same standard we hold client campaigns to: if it can't be measured, it doesn't get budget.
How to control them
In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies — look under Privacy settings. Blocking essential cookies may break small things like theme memory; blocking the rest costs you nothing.
Platform opt-outs. Google, Meta, and Microsoft each offer ad-personalization controls in your account settings on those platforms, which apply everywhere, not just here.
Do Not Track. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of non-essential cookies.
